Introducing the latest member of the Bestie Hugs family - The Ribbon – a scarf that goes beyond fashion to provide support for both your well-being and the causes you’re looking to bring awareness to.
 
The Ribbon is a double sided scarf/or wrap - and the first of our Bestie Togo line of original products - which, Similar to Bestie, incorporate deep pressure therapy via weight, hot and cold therapy, aromatherapy, and versatile design.
 
Side 1 of the Ribbon features our signature bestie hug pocket, which is used to promote a self hug while keeping your hands relaxed and warm.
The Bestie Ribbon got it’s name from the reverse side, which features a diagonal strap -- and when styled together, resembles an awareness ribbon.

    • The ribbon is Unisex
    • Please note the The Bestie ribbon was created to be worn while standing or sitting straight forward. Do not lay down, lay back or sleep with the scarf. The scarf if fitting Parental supervision is mandatory for children under the age of 14. 
    • To wash:  Please wipe clean with a wet sheet or dry clean. you may also hand wash parts of the ribbon, but do not submerge the ribbon in water or else you may soak up the grains and ruin the scarf. 
    • Heat Instructions & Warnings - The first time you heat up the ribbon - try 1 minute - take out the ribbon - check to see the tempresure of the ribbon on your hand before placing on your neck area. you may add an additional 30 seconds, then take out the ribbon and check the tempreture again on your hand. The maxium time you may heat up the ribbon is 2 minutes. DO NOT TAKE THE RIBBON OUT OF THE MICROWAVE AND IMMEDIATLEY PLACE IT ON YOUR NECK - BEFORE CHECKING THE TEMPRETURE - THIS MAY RESULT IN THE RIBBON OVERHEATING YOUR NECK AND MUST BE AVOIDED.  It is not recommended to heat up the ribbon for 2 minutes on your first try. DO NOT HEAT UP THE RIBBON FOR OVER 2 MINUTES - IT MAY BURN. Your must make sure that the Ribbon is spinning inside on the microwave plate and that it is not hitting the sides of the mircowave, in order to ensure evenly heating up the scarf. Please make sure that the microwave plate is sitting on its track - if the plate is off track - it may result in the scarf not spinning properly in the microave and may result in burns.

    Bestie's name was inspired by the sensation we feel when “getting a hug from our best friend."

    With extensive research on hugging technics and the science behind the comfort we experience from deep pressure therapy, we found that hugging yourself during stressful times can help decrease feelings of loneliness and anxiety by releasing a hormone called oxytocin - the same hormone we experience while cuddling. 


    Bestie's pocket was designed to induce a “self hug” when you place both hands in the pocket, which increases the weight distribution & therefore creates a calming pressure on the body. We call this, the Bestie Hug.
